During our International Women’s Day Event on the 7th of March, the student hotel will host a FREE Femxle DJ Workshop, sponsored by Pioneer DJ, for all the girls and womxn who are curious to discover their DJ talents.

The workshop takes place in a safe space to learn, express and connect. This means that there are only girls and womxn in the room, which is a space of encouragement and mutual respect.

Equality in the DJ world is still an issue and therefore we integrate a workshop in our International Women’s Day program to create awareness and have fun at the same time!

Many girls and womxn all over the world want to DJ, they just don’t have the support, technical knowledge, or equipment – and that’s what we hope to make possible for girls and womxn on this occasion and possible more in the future at The Student Hotel Eindhoven.

In this space, you can be who you are, without feeling the pressure to perform or to behave in a certain way. The workshop will be with a small group and a DJ-instructor. This way they can offer personal attention and a personal DJ deck during the workshop to ensure that everyone is heard and creatively free.

Tickets are FREE but spots are limited so make sure to sign up via their Eventbrite or Facebook Event.

!IMPORTANT!: Please bring a Smartphone, Tablet or Laptop with music to the workshop so we can attach it to the DJ Deck! Also download the Djay or WeDJ application.
